New England Disabled Sports offers sports and recreation within a safe, supportive, fun boundary-free environment for individuals with disabilities who require adaptive instruction.

Over the last year there have been many milestones attained at NE Disabled Sports. The year round programming saw a record number of individuals attend with Jan 20, 2010 seeing a record 60 students in one day. We introduced the sports of biathlon, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and solidified the summer programs. Our Ski team came in second overall and 3 former participants attended the Vancouver Winter Paralympic Games.

In other exciting news NE Disabled Sports became the new home of the National Disabled Ski Hall of Fame. As well, working in conjunction with Disabled Sports USA and US Paralympics NE Disabled Sports is going to be the host of the White Mountain Cycling Classic in June 2010.  Your support helps us to enhance the quality of life of individuals with disabilities and enables us to offer special programs such as our Wounded Warriors Weekend held annually at Loon Mountain. 

One of our major fundraising events is the NE Disabled Sports Golf Classic.  Last September, on a perfect fall day, 115 golfers enjoyed a round of 18 holes of golf at Owl’s Nest Resort in support of the NE Disabled Sports.  Participants and sponsors helped raise $38,000 to support our programs.
